Tech4Health in underserved communities

In the 2019 Entrepreneurs for Resilience Award cycle, we focused on innovative solutions that offer more and better access to healthcare for households in low-income communities. To be eligible for the award, an enterprise had to take a business-minded approach to tackling behavioural, knowledge, infrastructure, financial and/or other barriers to such households’ access to healthcare solutions – from prevention to treatment.

The 2019 winner, CarePay, was selected from three finalists by a jury of Swiss Re senior executives and academic representatives at an award ceremony in Beijing (China) on 16 May 2019.
