Nicole Pieterse Group Chief People Officer

Professional experience

Nicole Pieterse started her career in 2000 at ABN AMRO (previously Fortis) in Utrecht. She advanced rapidly from project manager roles into senior Human Resources (HR) development and advisory positions, gaining international experience across Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Brussels. In 2009, Nicole Pieterse became an executive committee member of the Prime Funds Solution division as Global HR Manager in Amsterdam. In 2011, she joined Credit Suisse in London as HR Director, before moving on to Swiss Re in Zurich in 2015 as HR Partner for the Group Chief Investment Officer and Group Chief Underwriting Officer. She was appointed Head HR Corporate Solutions in 2017, Head HR EMEA in 2021, and Head HR Property & Casualty Reinsurance & Countries in 2023. Nicole Pieterse was appointed Group Chief People Officer and member of the Group Executive Committee effective January 2026.
