Petronela Chuda Functional Management Specialist & CSR

Petronela completed her bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and Management in the Czech Republic before moving to Austria, where she completed her master’s degree in Tourism Management. After her studies, she returned to Slovakia to begin her career in event management at Swiss Re. From the start, she was actively involved in the Philanthropy Committee and supported the organising team for the Shine programme.

Since 2026, Petronela has coordinated volunteering and CSR activities for Swiss Re employees in Bratislava, providing maternity cover for a colleague during her leave. She represents the Swiss Re Foundation in Slovakia, manages relationships with local partners, administers grants and donations, and leads the Philanthropy Committee in Slovakia. She also drives the regional Shine social entrepreneurship programme, supporting social innovators in Slovakia as they develop and scale their impact.
