Entrepreneurs for Resilience Award 2024: Latest edition comes to a close

From 350 applications received worldwide, the Swiss Re Foundation announced ZimbosAbantu the winner of the 8th Entrepreneurs for Resilience Award at the flagship award ceremony held in Zurich yesterday, in partnership with DCCC and UBS Optimus Foundation. Intelehealth was declared People's Choice winner from an overall 10000+ unique public votes received. Apart from non-financial support from Swiss Re experts and members of the DCCC, ZimbosAbantu received a total award grant of USD 350K. Cliniva and Intelehealth received USD 250K and USD 150K respectively. The flagship event spread across three days at Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue,Rüschlikon, was also an opportunity to engage with the important ecosystem partners from the space of healthcare vis-à-vis members of the DCCC: AXA, PharmAccess, Philips, SCBF and others like Novartis Foundation, Roche, Sanofi, FSDA, among others , to learn and deliberate on scalable collaborative models, digital health integration in the health systems and scope of blended finance to accelerate digital and brick models of access to healthcare for low and middle-income countries. It's encouraging to see the Resilience Award getting interest from collaborators of the ecosystem, thus enabling us to support the wide network of social entrepreneurs with collective expertise and collaborative networks.
