Charity of the Year

COTY

We created the Charity of the Year programme to encourage Swiss Re employees to team up with their colleagues and support a worthy cause for a year or more.

Available in most Swiss Re offices around the world, the programme invites employees to select a local non-profit to be their Charity of the Year by online vote. The winner receives a grant from the Swiss Re Foundation for a specific project. Local employees are also invited to volunteer for the charity, for instance, by organising a fundraising event or participating in a Community Day.

Winners have ranged from established programmes that support intellectually disabled people or provide food and education to the needy to short-term efforts to build temporary shelters for local residents affected by natural catastrophe.

Through the year, different Swiss Re office locations initiate search for their annual Charity of the Year, aligned to our focus areas. Fill in our application form and join the pool of potential Charity partners! Currently, Alpharetta, Armonk, Chicago, Fort Wayne, Kansas City, Windsor (US), Toronto (Canada) and the UK are sourcing applications for Charity of the Year. Only charities registered in the those three countries are eligible.
